Director and Founder
Elliot came through the UK youth system and played for a number of clubs including Bolton, Burnley and Morecambe. At the age of 18 he was released and consequently spent the next 4 years in the USA after deciding that a US Scholarship would be the best option for him. On his return he founded Soccer Smart in 2010 wanting to help players progress their careers not only in a footballing manner but also academically. To date Elliot has sent over 1000 players abroad and hopes to help many more.
Director of USA operations
Michael played at a division 2 college; Eastern New Mexico University. After finding a successful career as a 4 time all conference defender and 2 time all region, 3 time all academic and scholar athlete of the year, he bounced from trial to tryout searching for an opportunity. Signing his first paid to play contract with Kitsap Pumas Michael suffered an injury sidelining him for 9 months. After working with various agents for 3 years; Soccer Smart USA scouted him and sent him overseas to play in the third tier within weeks! After a successful career in Australia winning multiple awards, Soccer Smart USA placed him in Sweden to play professionally with a division 2 side in Europe! Michael now heads our US operations.
